Concept:

The middle is basically a Celtic design. I have Irish and Dutch/German & English in me, so I figure that would qualify me as full of Gaul. I've always loved Celtic art, so I made the basic structure based on that.

I've always loved gargoyles and gothic styles, so bats and skulls are almost always incorporated into my work. Talking gargoyles deliver messages from beyond!

The Vegas girls are essential to any cool monument. I've always dug Las Vegas, it sums up my seedy, sleazy side. Glitzy, gaudy, and covered with lights.

Chia pet guardians give a little color to a drab stone tomb. And the flame job is just my love of hot rod art.

Bio:

I was born in Chicago, IL, February 9, 1965. My dad was an artist in NYC during the 60s. My mom was a secretary. We moved around a lot, so friends were hard to make sometimes. I spent a lot of time by myself so I began doing art. I started by copying comic strips then I moved on to adult comix like Heavy Metal and undergrounds (Zap, Checkered Demon, Freak Bros). I began to develop my own style, and refined it in college where I worked on the student paper at Univ. of N. Texas in Denton, TX. I do freelance art and caricatures in my spare time.
