Concept:

The concept for my piece is pretty straightforward. I'm dead. This is the sign proclaiming it. In this day and age most people need a sign in order to tell them what to think, so I'm providing that for my death. It's a simple notification just as is a stop sign or a man/woman on a bathroom door. Any elaboration on the point is futile; nothing can be done about death.

Bio:

Nick Gaetano is a prolific illustrator known for his distinctive art deco style. He has designed for magazines, advertising, book covers, logos, posters, and hooked rugs. His work has been featured on U.S. postage stamps.

This forsaken lover is presently residing in the hills of North Carolina but is still searching for his true home. Between choosing a new hair color, practicing tough love with his computer, and meditating, Nick somehow finds the time to pursue another career in abstract painting.
